DENNIS SETZER, NO. 46, MORGAN-DOLLAR MOTORSPORTS SILVERADO (2ND PLACE FINISH)

THIS IS WHERE YOU ARE USED TO DOING WELL-- ARE YOU DISAPPOINTED THAT YOU DIDN'T WIN? "Yeah, but you don't always get what you want. We had a good finish and the truck was good all day. We were equal to Crawford on the long runs and we just couldn't make up any ground. I thought we had a shot at him on that green-white checkered finish."

HOW WAS IT OUT THERE? IT LOOKED LIKE A REAL PHYSICAL RACE? "It was tough, but we had our little Silverado dialed in pretty good. Maybe I should have used the bumper a little bit more today because our truck had all four fenders at the end. It was a good point's day for us and the team is looking forward to Mansfield in May."

JACK SPRAGUE, NO. 16 CHEVROLET SILVERADO (3RD PLACE FINISH)

"This was a great race for the #16 Chevy Trucks Silverado. I had an awesome truck. Chris, Dave and all the guys did a great job preparing this truck. This whole team has just dug in and worked hard since Atlanta."

"The middle set of tires I had was perfect, I thought we had it dialed. Everything was looking good but after the last set of tires we got a little tight off and loose in but we were solid enough to stay near the front."

"Leading toward the end of the race is the place to be. When you lead the race you can dictate your pace and your race, and run the corners like I wanted. I could arch the truck the way I wanted but when you are racing with others in the lead pack, you have less options to choose you line and have to be more defensive."

"This third place is a momentum builder for this team; we will take it and head for Ohio. I am just so proud of all my guys, they have really pulled together and we are headed in the right direction with this Chevy Trucks team.

MATT CRAFTON, NO. 6 CHEVROLET SILVERADO (6TH PLACE FINISH)

"We had a great truck all day; I hated to see that green/white checker at the end. I really thought I had something for them. We are a new team, we are starting to gel together and I guarantee our Chevy Silverado will be a truck to reckon with the rest of the year."

ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO HEADING TO MANSFIELD? "Very, I am one of the only truck guys that have been on that track. I tested there last year with the old team I was with and we tested at South Boston which is similar to Mansfield. I'm really happy how the truck did today and I'm looking forward to having another great run in May at the inaugural event in Ohio."

DAVID STARR, NO. 75 SPEARS CHEVROLET SILVERADO (9TH PLACE FINISH )

"I guess we're pleased with it, but we wanted more than that. We had a good truck at the early in the race. Just like everyone, we got tight in the center and that gets you loose off the corners. We were adjusting on it and before the first pit stop, I think the 33 truck got into us and we got into the 18. It was one of those Martinsville deal. There was a lot of paint swapping, metal bending. We tried to get up front - we came in and fixed the damage - then lost all that track position. This was a great NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race and this Spears Chevrolet Silverado team just kept digging; kept fighting and that's what this series is all about."

Handling Woes End Setzer's Streak in Atlanta

CONTACT: Morgan-Dollar Motorsports
Sam Brown

Atlanta, GA  Driver Dennis Setzer and Morgan-Dollar Motorsports saw their outstanding top-ten streak slip through their hands on Saturday as they fought furiously to get a handle on their #46 Chevrolet Silverado. Dennis and the #46 crew had not finished outside the top-ten since May of 2003, a streak of 21 straight races. The last race where the #46 team hadn't finished tenth or better was the Hardee's 200 at Lowe's Motor Speedway last spring, where engine problems dropped them to 23rd.

This weekend the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series tackled the ultra-fast Atlanta Motor Speedway for the first time in its tenth season. Dennis and the team were pretty satisfied with the truck after happy hour on Friday where they posted the fourth-fastest speed during the session. They were even happy with an eighth-place starting position since their team had been much better in the past at racing than qualifying.

However, not long after the green flag dropped for the inaugural Easy Care Vehicle Service 200 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Setzer radioed in that his Chevrolet Silverado was experiencing a very loose condition. Dennis had fallen back to thirteenth position and was in need of a caution to make some adjustments to his truck.

That caution came out on lap 46, but it was a little too close for comfort. A truck spun to the bottom of the track and came back up the track just ahead of Dennis. He barely squeezed by to the high side and avoided it, but the wreck collected the two trucks just behind him in a vicious crash.

Dennis brought his #46 Silverado in for service on lap 49 after the red flag, that halted the race, had been lifted. Crew chief, Danny Gill, called for some aggressive changes to the truck in an effort to tighten it up. Several trucks had already pitted when the caution came out, so after the stop, Dennis would restart in sixth position.

Setzer's Sivlerado was better from the start, but the loose condition crept back in as the run went along. We worked on the handling a lot during the race, said Setzer. It seemed like we were going back and forth with it. Our crew changed tires and this Chevrolet Silverado changed drastically each time with a little bit of adjustment. These were the same tires we had used here in an earlier test. I guess we should have stuck with what Goodyear brought today. Our team was not in the class that we needed to be in today.

Dennis would go on to finish in 11th place. The finish, however disappointing, did move Setzer up from sixth to fifth in the overall point standings for the 2004 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Championship.

Setzer and his Chevrolet Silverado race team will have to wait four weeks until their next chance to get to victory lane. It could be familiar territory as the next race is the Kroger 250 at Martinsville Speedway, where Dennis and Morgan-Dollar have taken home two wins in the last three races there with an average finish of 1.67.

DISAPPOINTING WEEKEND IN ATLANTA FUELS DETERMINATION
FOR SPRAGUE AND #16 CHEVY TRUCKS TEAM

CONTACT: GM Communications
Judy Kouba Dominick

HAMPTON, GA  March 13, 2004  It was a tough couple of days at the office for Jack Sprague and the members of the #16 Chevy Trucks Silverado IWX Racing Team. After qualifying a disappointing 19th for the EasyCare Vehicle Service Contracts 200 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, things didn't improve for the three-time NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series champion.

We struggled finding the handle to get speed all weekend,  said Sprague. We made change after change during happy hour to see what we could find to improve our Chevy Trucks Silverado but just couldn't seem to get where we knew we should be.

Saturday morning, the crew put their heads together going through notes from testing as well as previous races to search for the answers they needed to move the Chevy Trucks Silverado to the front of the field.

From virtually the drop of the green flag of Saturday's 130 lap race, the two-time NCTS team lead by Dave Fuge (team manager) and Chris Showalter (crew chief) fought adversity. On lap eight, Sprague keyed his radio to relay the truck was wicked bad loose as he slipped backward in the standings.

On lap 16, another major setback hit the team when Sprague was black-flagged by NASCAR officials for his driver's side window net falling down. The team decided to make major adjustments to the handling components of the truck during the unscheduled pit stop to fix the window net. When Sprague rejoined the field, he was in 34th position, two-laps down from the leader.

But despite the major adjustments, the handling didn't improve and on lap 40, Sprague came down pit road to make additional repairs to the window net and further major adjustments to try and improve the handling of the truck.

When the yellow flag flew on lap 44, Sprague was in 33rd position, four laps down to the leader.

The crew never gave up and continued to make changes to the truck as the race progressed with air pressure, track bar adjustments, spring rubbers and wedge.

On lap 94, Sprague returned to the pits with the window net loose again. At that time, the team made the final adjustments to the #16 Chevy Trucks Silverado. When racing resumed, Sprague was 28th.

As the laps wound down to the finish, Sprague turned the best lap times of the event.

I don't know what to say, Sprague continued. We struggled all weekend with our Chevy Trucks Silverado. It just didn't seem like we could get a handle under us. Dave (Fuge, team manager), Chris (Showalter, crew chief) and everyone on the IWX Chevy Trucks crew worked and worked to try to get us better before the race started.

They went through our test notes from Charlotte to see if we could find something since we got rained out here at the test. We started out and by the 2nd lap we were just wicked loose. Then we got black flagged for the window net coming down so I brought it in and the guys made major changes to see if we could get any better. Again, nothing seemed to really help us that much.

The window net kept coming down, so we came in again under yellow and taped it up made more major changes, but by that point we were so far down, it made more sense to take care of the truck and finish the race.

Sprague concluded, I am disappointed for our team, Chevrolet Silverado and all our sponsors. We will be back and win races for them, but this just wasn't our weekend. This team knows how to win races and championships, we won?t quit until we get it right."

NOTES: One Top Five (Crafton-5th), Three Top Tens (Crafton-5th, Hmiel-6th, Schrader-10th)

Dennis Setzer, No 46, SILVERADO- (Finished 11th) ?We worked a lot on it during the race. It seemed that we were going back and forth with it. We changed tires and this Chevrolet Silverado changed drastically each time with a little bit of adjustment. Every we time we?d come across, it would change. We?d be real loose, then go back to the other set of tires and we?d be real tight, then it?d go back to being loose. We had a test here earlier and brought some of the tires from the earlier time. We probably should have just used the tires here. We changed tires there and tried to free it up on that last stop. It was spinning out there at the end. We were not in the class, we needed to be today.

Jack Sprague, No. 16, IWX RACING CHEVY TRUCKS SILVERADO- (Finished 24th) "I don't know what to say.

I am disappointed for our team, Chevrolet Silverado and all our sponsors. We will be back and win races for them, but this just wasn't our weekend."

David Starr, No. 75, SPEARS SILVERADO- (Finished 36th) Starr was the first truck out of the race, due to mechanical failure.

Matt Crafton, No. 6, GM GOODWRENCH SILVERADO- (Finished 5th) ?These guys tuned on this GM Goodwrench Silverado all day. It was good. For a new team we?ve done real well. Kevin (Harvick) had this deal started and added on a whole bunch of new guys. We just started off so tight. Tight, tight off and we got to work on the tight off and got it close. When we get it good, they better watch out. I knew we could do it and we?ll be here all year.?

Matt Crafton cont?d- ?Travis Kvapil and I had a heck of a race today. I knew he?d race me clean and I was going to race him clean. He did some awesome slide jobs on me and he gave me room when I had an inch on him. I did the same for him. I love to race people like that. You can race clean and hard and you don?t have to worry about him sliding up into you. You respect each other and that makes for great racing.?

Shane Hmiel, No. 15, EARL SMALL?S HARLEY DAVIDSON SILVERADO- (Finished 6th) ?The Earl Small?s Harley Davidson sponsored Chevrolet Silverado was really good today. To have all our sponsors down here and get a good finish is important for this team. We could have finished fourth or fifth, but I spun the tires on that last restart and got the back end tore up. It?s only my second race in the truck series and it?s a totally different feel and we?re really feeling it out. We were up there with Bobby Hamilton and Mike Skinner all Winston Cup winners, to run with them rally makes you feel good. We?ll get the feel for this truck and it won?t be long and we?ll get a victory.?

Ken Schrader, No. 52, FEDERATED AUTO PARTS SILVERADO- (10TH) ?I think the fans of Atlanta got to enjoy a truck race. Just listen to them (large crowd noise) It was a heck of a race. These trucks put on a good show at every place. This Federated Auto Parts Silverado is a new truck and tenth in the truck series is not what we want, but we?re not leaving here hanging our heads.

JACK SPRAGUE #16 IWX CHEVY TRUCKS SILVERADO
RACING TEAM DAYTONA, 2004 POST RACE

Florida Dodge Dealers 250

Race 1 of 25

CONTACT: GM Communications
Judy Kouba Dominick

Daytona Beach, FL ~February 13, 2004 ~ Jack Sprague had hoped that his #16 IWX Racing Chevy Trucks Silverado Team would leave Daytona with a solid finish and a strong head of steam entering Atlanta. However, an accident just past the half way point of the 100-lap race collected the three-time champion and 14 other competitors and forced Sprague in the garage for 28 laps to repair crash damage. Sprague finished 25th in the 2004 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season opening event at Daytona International Speedway.

Sprague started the race in 19th, inside of row ten and had worked his way to the sixth position when the yellow flew on the 37th lap. Despite having pitted for four tires, fuel and a track bar adjustment on lap 28, team manager Dave Fuge and Crew Chief Chris Showalter, decided to bring Sprague in again under caution for four new tires with a slight air pressure adjustment and fuel. The veteran pair made a strategic move to maximize fuel mileage by again bringing Sprague down pit road to top off fuel on lap 41 when the field got the one-to-go signal at the line. Fellow Chevrolet Silverado driver Mike Wallace made the quick stop-and-go with Sprague to ensure a drafting partner when the race went back to green.

“We took off there after that yellow and the truck was really good – probably the best it had been,” said Sprague. “There was still a lot of racing left so I was following Mike (Wallace) and the next thing I knew I was (turned) around.

“There had been a lot of bumping and close calls all night and I can’t tell you how many times I had to lift to give someone a chance to get their truck settled down and back in line. It is part of the give and take and patience you have to have in super speedway restrictor plate racing. It is a game of inches out there and the spotters just don’t always have a perfect view of what is going on. Daytona is a big racetrack and things are happening as fast for them as they are for us on the track.

“There were a lot of drivers out there in great trucks with not much experience in the nose to tailgate racing we do at Daytona. At the driver’s meeting, NASCAR stressed give and take, stay alert and give each other room when you need to. The experienced guys know that is exactly what you have to do to finish out there. The newer guys are going to have to learn if they want to get the few inches they may need now and then, they are going to have to give those same concessions to everyone else. It is a shame to wreck that many trucks, especially with so much of the race left to run. With five to go, it is every man for himself. But you can’t be in position to make those right moves for a possible win if you aren’t smart during the first 95 laps of the race.

“My IWX Chevy Trucks crew is just awesome. They thrashed to get the truck repaired so we could go back out and get as many points as we could. We improved a few positions by running it to the end.”

Sprague slowly and methodically started to move forward following the drop of the green flag racing up to inside the top-ten by the one-quarter mark in the race.

“We weren’t as quick as we had hoped of the truck and qualified farther back than we would have liked,” Sprague continued. “But by the time happy hour was over, the Chevy Trucks Silverado was good. We were a little tight to begin with but Chris (Showalter) and Dave (Fuge) kept tweaking it and we really were getting better and better after each stop. I think we could have been a strong contender to be one of the trucks in the front running pack when it was time to go for the win.

. "There was a lot of race left for us to keep moving to the front but just wasn't meant to be I guess. These Chevy Truck Silverado guys worked hard to get me a truck that was racing really good. Just before the wreck, I told them on the radio it was awesome.

"We will just come back strong at Atlanta, “ Sprague concluded. “There are a lot of races left in this season, we will stay focused on our game plan and take this IWX Chevy Trucks Silverado to the front."

The next NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event is the EasyCare Vehicle Service Contracts 200 on March 13, 2004 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Live TV coverage will begin on SPEED at 1:00 PM ET.

INTRODUCING TEAM SILVERADO

DENNIS SETZER, JACK SPRAGUE, DAVID STARR AND MATT CRAFTON
SET TO CONTINUE CHEVROLET WINNING TRADITION IN THE
NASCAR CRAFTSMAN TRUCK SERIES

CONTACT: GM Communications
Sam Brown
Judy Kouba Dominick

February 4, 2004 ~ A review of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) record books will reveal that Chevrolet has been the leading manufacturer in the series since the 1995 inaugural season. Bow Tie drivers have won eight of the nine driver championships. A total of five prestigious manufacturers’ championship trophies are prominently displayed in GM Racing headquarters. But resting on the laurels of previous success is not the philosophy of Chevy Trucks. To continue the Chevrolet winning tradition, a mix of veterans and rising stars will carry the torch for Team Silverado and make their debut at Daytona International Speedway February 13, 2004 for race number one of the 25-event 2004 NCTS schedule.

Four of the sports’ best drivers will headline Team Silverado driving for four of the strongest and most professional teams in the garage. The consistency of winning veterans Dennis Setzer and Jack Sprague will be complimented by rising star David Starr and the enthusiasm of the youth of Matt Crafton.

Setzer will drive the #46 Morgan-Dollar Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado. Sprague is behind the wheel of the #16 IWX Racing Chevy Trucks Silverado. Starr is the driver of the #75 Spears Motorsports Silverado and Crafton will pilot the #6 Kevin Harvick, Inc. GM Goodwrench Silverado.

“This is clearly an exciting time for Chevrolet Silverado, Chevy Trucks and GM Racing,” said Maria Rohrer, Chevrolet Silverado Marketing Manager. “Our main objective is to fully activate what we have and this year both General Motors and Chevrolet have stated that racing will be our key promotional platform. As such, the Craftsman Truck Series, in particular serves as an excellent venue to showcase our new sponsorship with top Chevrolet drivers such as Dennis Setzer, Jack Sprague, David Starr and Matt Crafton. They are already great teams in their own rights, but we have been able to give them adequate resources to do what is needed to win. Most importantly, when Chevy wins on the track we are able to cultivate a stronger relationship with the vast amount of truck buyers who attend the races. Chevrolet will bring out ten new vehicles in twenty short months and looks to achieve three million units for the company. Silverado is a big slice of that number,” Maria concluded.

In his fourth season with Morgan-Dollar Motorsports, North Carolina native Setzer is coming off his highest points finish in NCTS competition, second in 2003 by a mere nine points. Setzer was fourth in the standings when the series rolled into Homestead, FL for the season finale, but like the eventual championship Chevy team, drove his Silverado race truck to the front of the pack. The impressive runner-up spot marks his fifth consecutive top-ten series’ points finish. Building on his successful 2003 season which included three wins, 15 top-five finishes and an incredible 22 times in the top-ten, Setzer will clearly be one of the favorites in the 2004 run for the championship. Setzer boasts one of the most consistent records in the series with a total of ten wins and 52 top-five and 94 top-ten finishes in just 142 starts.

“I am very proud to be behind the wheel of the #46 Morgan-Dollar Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado race truck this season,” stated driver Dennis Setzer. We are honored to represent Chevrolet at this monumental time in their history and be a part of their present and future endeavors. Chevrolet and Silverado have dominated the Craftsman Truck Series over its nine-year existence and we are very excited to carry the banner for them in Chevy’s first-ever team sponsorship.

“We came up a little short of the championship in 2003 and now with a substantial increase in support from Chevrolet, our team has been able to make some major improvements in the off-season. The team was really coming together and our performance was outstanding in closing out the 2003 season. I feel that we can be a much better team this season, but its going to be very important to get off to a good start. You can’t play catch up in this series anymore and have to bring your best every week,” concluded Setzer.

Jack Sprague returns to familiar territory in 2004. He was a full-time competitor in the NCTS from 1995-2001. The 2002-2003 seasons, he enjoyed success in the NASCAR Busch Grand National Division as well as a solid effort in NASCAR’s Cup division. The Michigan native returns to the NCTS as the only three-time series champion capturing the crown in 1997, 1999 and 2001. Sprague is also the series leading money winner and has started more races in the history of the series than any other driver. The IWX Racing Team won consecutive series’ championships in 2002 and 2003. With a total of five NCTS championships between them, the team will be a formidable challenger for victory lane and the championship.

“I’m extremely happy to be able to drive for IWX Racing this season," said Sprague. "This team is all about winning races and championships…that's what I'm all about.

“Winning two consecutive championships in the Truck Series is a powerful statement about the team’s dedication to every detail that translates to consistent performance. As a driver, it gives me tremendous confidence to know my Chevy Trucks Silverado will be competitive every time we unload it from the hauler.”

“Testing went very well at both Daytona and Talladega,” Sprague continued. “We accomplished a great deal working on the truck in the draft. Although horsepower is important and having an adjustable setup so you can continue to improve the handling during the race, the truck has to work well in the draft. The majority of the Daytona races in any NASCAR series come down to how well you run in the draft to hook up with a partner and pull away from the field so you are in position to make your move at the right time for the win.

“It is all about building momentum at the start of the season,” concluded Sprague. “Then being able to build on that as the season progresses. With the tremendous support we are getting from Chevrolet added to the experience and knowledge on the this team, I feel like we have positioned ourselves for a strong start right out of the box and then continue the effort as the season unfolds.”

The 2004 season will be Starr’s third full season of competition in the NCTS. Prior to the 2002 season, the Houston, TX native competed in the series on a limited basis but it was enough to impress team owner Wayne Spears who gave him the opportunity to live his dream with a full time ride. Spears’ instincts proved to be right-on. Since joining the team, Starr has garnered one victory and numerous top-five and top-ten finishes and received the series’ Most Popular Driver award, all attributes that make him a valuable asset to Team Silverado. Off the track, Starr spends his time working with Speedway Children’s Charities and other organizations that raise money for variety of non-profit children’s programs.

“To drive the #75 Spears Chevrolet Silverado race truck has been truly a dream come true,” said Starr. “Now the addition of full support from GM Racing as a member of Team Silverado, I believe this team is poised to do great things in 2004.

“Testing has gone very well. We made tremendous strides in the drafting characteristics of the truck. I felt very comfortable and have confidence we will be running in the front pack as the final laps at Daytona begin to unwind. Last season, we didn’t have much luck at Daytona and created a deep hole to dig out as the season started to roll. We want to leave Daytona this year with a solid finish and a good points position. A run for the championship begins at the first race of the season. It is critical to develop that consistency day one for a strong foundation on which to build as the season continues.

“With a month between Daytona and our next race in Atlanta,” Starr concluded. “We can utilize all available testing opportunities to ensure we have a strong baseline in place for each track on the schedule. Our goal this season is to win races and the championship. This team is loaded with talented people, and with the full support of Chevrolet, all the ingredients are here to be a contender every week and I think we are poised for a tremendous season.”

Tulare, CA native Crafton brings youthful enthusiasm and excitement to the Team Silverado program. At 27-years old, he has amassed an impressive racing resume that includes a NASCAR Southwest Tour championship. In 2000, Crafton finished ninth in his first NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race, earning a multi-year contract to drive for Duke Thorson’s Ohio-based truck team. He’s scored 29 top-10 finishes in 72 starts over three seasons on the circuit, finishing 11th in 2003, 15th in 2002 and 12th in 2001 in the points. NASCAR Nextel Cup star Kevin Harvick recognized talent when he saw it and hired Crafton to drive for him in 2004 and beyond.

“It’s been a long winter and I’m ready to go,” said Crafton. “The first NASCAR Truck race under the lights at Daytona will be a lot of fun for the drivers and an exciting race for the fans. The lights will add an extra touch to an all ready exciting race.

“Now we’ve got GM Goodwrench behind us and that’s going to make a big difference for us. They are THE sponsor of sponsors in NASCAR. They’ve supported great teams and drivers and won races and championships and we’re going to try to follow that pattern.

“We’ve gotten in a bunch of testing at Talladega, Atlanta,” Crafton concluded. “We also had three days at Daytona and we’re happy with what we’ve learned. We didn’t work on speed at the Daytona test so much as drivability and drafting. These trucks make such a big hole in the air and that makes aerodynamics and drafting a big factor. We want to handle good in the draft.”

When asked what would make for a successful year on and off the track, Maria Rohrer responded, “A successful year on the track would be one without injuries, a manufacturer’s championship for Chevrolet, and for one of our key sponsored teams to win the driver championship. Off the track, we have known for a long time that there is a great appeal for the truck series. We also see an incredible opportunity to speak to our own truck buyers through entertainment and onsite sponsorship and presence. The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series works hard for us and we intend to leverage that into a successful year at the dealerships.”

The opening event of the 2004 season is the Florida Dodge Dealers 250 February 13, 2004 at Daytona International Speedway. Live television coverage will begin at 8:00 p.m. on Speed Channel. Fans can listen to live radio coverage on Motor Racing Network (MRN).

DRIVER: Tracy Hines
TEAM: #88 ThorSport Racing Menards Silverado
Birthdate: May 1, 1972
Hometown: New Castle, IN

On Daytona and 2004 Season: “We are going to Daytona with a great team and great equipment. Menards is a great sponsor and they have given us a lot of support. We have a veteran crew chief in Tim Kohuth that will be there too, and he's won races there in the past. I had a chance to work with him in the four races I was in last year, so we have a good working relationship already. Daytona is unique. The only time the equipment really shines is in qualifying. For the race, you need to rely heavily on the driver and on the draft. It is going to be all about finding the right dance partners and not making any mistakes.

“Our goal is to run for wins and top-5s every time we are on the track. We have a great package with great owners, great guys in the shop, great engines and a great sponsor. We have looked at the competition for rookie of the year and we think we have a very solid shot to win it. The competition is going to be very stout, for sure, but with what we have in place here, I think we definitely have a good shot at it.”

DRIVER: Dennis Setzer
TEAM: #46 Morgan-Dollar Motorsports Silverado
Birthdate: February 27, 1960
Hometown: Newton, NC

On Daytona and 2004 Season: “I am very proud to be behind the wheel of the #46 Morgan-Dollar Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado race truck this season.

You can’t play catch up in this series anymore and have to bring your best every week.”

DRIVERF: JACK SPRAGUE
TEAM: #16 IWX MOTORSPORTS CHEVY TRUCKS SILVERADO
Birthdate: August 8, 1964
Hometown: Spring Lake, MI

On Daytona and 2004 Season: “Testing went very well at both Daytona and Talladega. We accomplished a great deal working on the truck in the draft.

“It is all about building momentum at the start of the season, then being able to build on that as the season progresses. With the tremendous support we are getting from Chevrolet added to the experience and knowledge on the this team, I feel like we have positioned ourselves for a strong start right out of the box and then continue the effort as the season unfolds.”

“I can contribute my speed and confidence to Tommy (Morgan, crew chief). He knows the correct set-up for track conditions, and with his help, I should be running pretty close to the front all season.”
